Vaginal yeast infection symptoms are devastating to anyone who has them. If you are among the many unfortunate people who suffer from yeast infections as shocking is addressing you once again. Some women can get yeast infections only occasionally where others seem to be continuously carried out by them. I'd like to talk about the symptoms first and then discuss which are most at risk, which could simply answer your question about why you keep getting yeast infections.
Vaginal yeast infection symptoms
There are some main symptoms that come with a yeast infection. It is not uncommon to be carried out by all of them, but not always. The main symptoms are:
-An extreme itching. This itch is the worst of all the symptoms that are so bad that you can't help scratching. Scratching unfortunately leads to symptom.
-Swollen lips of the vagina, pain and tenderness, redness around the vagina and vulva. There may be slight bleeding.
-Due to the vagina is swollen and sore, urinate will make you feel a burning sensation.
-A white vaginal discharge that are thick and looks like a bit of cheese.
-Pain or discomfort when having sex.
Are at risk
Some women experience symptoms of vaginal yeast infection over and over again, making their lives miserable. Why is that, Could it be that you fall into one of the most at risk categories that will be discussed. Here is a list of the things that makes yeast have a better chance of multiplication:
Antibiotics -there are times when all they need antibiotics, but these days they are prescribed too easily. They are designed to kill bacteria, but unfortunately it includes good beneficial bacteria that is within our digestive tracts. Once the good bacteria went yeast fungus can get a hold of the foot really strong and be very stubborn to get rid of. As discussed on other pages of this site there are a few options. Try not to take antibiotics unless really necessary. If you take them and then restore the good bacteria to eat regularly and at least one cup of plain yogurt that contains live cultures as Lactobicillus Acidophilus. You can use a probiotic from a health store, are usually in the form of capsules or as a powder.
Pills -pill contains estrogen which raises levels of sugar in the vagina. Yeast feeds on sugar.
Steroid -steroids are strongly connected with Candida yeast infections. Steroids increase the levels of glucose (sugar) in the blood which changes the natural environment of the vagina by giving the yeast the right conditions to thrive. So steroids increase the likelihood and severity of a yeast infection.
Thedrug mmunosuppressive -these drugs stop the normal immune system allowing the yeast to take hold.
Diabetes -sugar nourishes and feeds the yeast. Diabetics have higher levels of blood sugar, so it is easier for the yeast to breed in their systems.
AIDS patients -thanks to their suppressed immune system and are prescribed medications that AIDS patients are also more at risk.
Severe Stress -Stress can cause all sorts of disease. Stress really puts a strain on our immune system resulting in us becoming dilapidated which, in turn, can create the ideal environment for a yeast infection.
Menstruation -due to fluctuating hormone levels, including estrogen.
Pregnancy pregnant-when higher levels of estrogen are produced resulting in a production of glycogen in the vagina. Glycogen is a sugar that feeds the yeast.
Diet -this should be the number one to watch if you're experiencing regular fungal infections. Since the yeast feeds on sugar is obvious to cut this out of your diet. This includes all sweet desserts, cakes, candies, etc. Alcohol also has a certain amount of sugar in it so should be avoided too. Any processed food, packaged or refined food is out along with junk food. To really give your body the best chance of healing, you need to get back to basics with your diet.
The risk factors listed above can help shed some light on why you are more prone to fungal infections than others. Symptoms of vaginal yeast infection can be deleted but discover the root cause is the real key to success.
